Vuelta

The 2021 Vuelta A Espana started on August 14 all will end of September 5 if all goes to plan. Last year Primoz Roglic won the shortened Vuelta. He won it for the second time in two years last year. Primoz Roglic and Egan Bernal are the main favorites.

Last years Vuelta was shortened and pushed back because of the pandemic. Primoz Roglic of team Jumbo Visma beat Richard Carapaz of Ineos. Roglic gained the lead on stage one and lost it on stage 6 to Carapaz. Roglic gained it back controversially on stage 10 and lost it the next day but gained it back on the timetrial. He gained it controversially because he won the stage and got the tim e bonus but Carapaz should have gotten the same time some say. Egan Bernal won the 2019 Tour de France and the 2021 Giro but struggled with back problems in 2020 but he is back to try to become only the eighth rider to win all three grand tours in his career.

I think Roglic will win. He just has every thing needed and is the defending champion. The only thing stopping might be a crash or INEOS and everyone else going all out to beat him.
